    Doesn't really matter. You can put a spacer in the OEM assembly, until it rides like an Amish wagon, and that wont happen. You should be able to preload the ever loving piss out of the Icons (People have), and not have this happen.

    Me too! But it's never too late - just got mine on order...I have Kings in the rear that replaced my icon 2.0RR shocks...king build quality is top notch

    All the TW conventional wisdom is out the window. My rebuildable coilovers are going to fly through my coil buckets. My gusseted spindles are going to shear clean off on the speed bumps at Target. What's next?

    ah I don't think the amount of preload would matter that much with the stock valving for the icons with 650# springs - I got video of my fenders eating the shit outta my tires (33") out in the desert with some smallish whoops

    It's good info, so no biggie. I actually assumed that Icon had addressed this issue, since I first heard about the flawed design. I'm glad I subbed this thread, I'm def out on Icon now.
