I've waved at other jeeps while driving my taco before...kinda feel dumb after I figure out the Jeep is at home.

I had a guy with a standard aluminum billet grille drive past me head on. Instead of waving he pointed at my satoshi and had a big ol grin. I was like... damn right, custom made bud.

I only wave to modded tacomas. I tried waving at all of them for a while, never really got any responses. I have pulled up next to another modded truck, and we both said nice truck to each other. Rarely do I see other modded tacomas though, and I look at every one I see. I keep enough of an eye out for tacomas that I can usually tell just by the shape of the headlights at night. I guess I'm a little bit of a fanatic.

I noticed a lot of you guys are out in the east so, maybe I will throw some waves when I'm out and about. I'll give it a try around base but being in the Marines I already know how cocky and arrogant we all are and I'll probably just get a disgruntled look back.

I don't know though, when I see a Wisconsin license plate or bumper sticker (that being my home state) myself and the other driver usually get pretty excited when we see each other on the road and wave vigorously, so maybe it'll work with Tacomas.

No one will give me a wave back, most are old men that look at me weird.

My wife said the owner of another modded Taco waved to me the other day but I didn't see him. I'd like to issue a formal apology to him. *Wave*

People would think I'm weird if I wave at them for no reason.

    Someone else stated this...

I waved at all Tacomas and would usually get odd glares from old ladies. So I started doing it to modded Tacomas and usually got a wave back or some odd "cool guy" head nod. I think it's catching on, but a lot of people don't realize what they're driving and bought the truck for something else (price, gas mileage etc.) beside looking like an ultimate badass in one (the reason I bought it).
