On the supra seats? Let me check. I believe some guy swapped the rails and put them in a Toyota pickup. Anything that's not from the same gen or from a 4Runner will require a bit of modding to the rail.

5VZ 4x4 with a 1.3 vv this is on a 2000. EDIT: Should be S type; part # correlating to 2003 tacoma radiator cap interchanges with 1.5 S type. However TRD sparks site depicts a picture of a 1.3 cap on a 1.5 S type item.

Thanks. Ultimately, It'd be nice if I could find some different rails or remount the stock ones further back for more leg room. No one sits in the back anyway. I'm thinking just re-drill mounts back a little should be sufficient. I was all set on the Runner seats but those supra ones are real comfy looking... I'm sure they are harder to come by and more $$ but I'll keep my eyes open.

I hear you on that. Could definitely use the extra leg room. If I'm not mistaken underneath the carpet should be additional predrilled holes if not are molded that can be drilled. Don't know if that was just on configurations with the 60/40 up front or not.

If I could get those supras and get them in perforated leather I'll never need to sit in another vehicle again. I just need a seat to support lumbar cause these Tacoma seats really lack in that area. I'm sure they are expensive per seat. Let alone no one parts out supras.

Exactly. It'll be hard to find them but would be worth it. I hear you on the lumbar. Our 4Runner has crazy lumbar adjustment. May have to find a wrecked 5th gen... I guess I could swap the seat over and see if it'd even fit. Wife may look at me weird, but that's not new:rofl:

It was funny cause I was at a salvage yard this morning so I could look at a limited 4runner seats, leather, power lumbar, but had the dial. I was looking for full on power seats but I said sure, the driver seat had a cut down to the foam and dude wanted $150 per seat...I said ok that's fine for $300...then I said I'd need some of the wiring to it. He gets visibly upset for whatever fucking reason, starts talking louder cause alpha, and said another $150 on top of that to get the wiring out.

Walked out. Said fuck that. The search continues.

Sounds like walking was the right call. Is there a pull your own part place near you, like an LQK or Wrench-a-part?

Don't know about black; small accents of it are good though. Current interior vv
Yeah there's a pick a part, is what we call it. The place I went to was big, and a majority of the salvage yards are within close proximity to each other. $300 for the condition of the seats, no headrests, including the cut to the foam is a joke.
