All good man. I'm deciding between that or a M&P 15 Sport II. Two completely different ends of the spectrum I know, but I'm only allowed one toy every so often, which is exactly what either one would be. Haha.

Sucks I missed the meet on the 18th. Figured it was kind of pointless since I didn't have the truck yet. When's the next one?

Own several S&W pistols/revolvers but not a M&P 22. Hear the the S&W Victory .22 is pretty good.

I have a Ruger Mk II S.S. 5 1/2" bull barrel target .22 semi auto that shoots great. The new Mk IV is easier to disassemble for cleaning and would be my choice for new .22 semi auto pistol.

Pretty much a buyers market on AR 15s except for the top tier brands. You can't go wrong with the pistol or AR. Buy one now and the other when your budget allows.

I've only been up there one other time, a couple months ago, and I think thats the same part I did. Gonna go check other spots out and see if I can find a good camping spot for a later date.

I'm trying to start building up my tools/supplies for my truck to go camping/overlanding and such. what kind of air compressors do y'all have. I'm not going with something onboard yet. just want some suggestions as I have no clue what a good company is. Viair?

I had the top end viair onboard on my first gen. It was an awesome setup. I was using it for the air lockers but worked great for airing up tires too.
