Rear diff and transfer case

I was looking at the maint. schedule and it says to change the rear diff at 30K if you have a LSD. Mine is an SR5 4x4 without LSD. At what mileage should this be changed on my model? I don't see it in the schedule at all.

Also, at what mileage should the transfer case be done at since I do have 4x4 and don't see this on the schedule?

I don't do a lot of towing except for once or twice a year and 4x4 is used in the snow.

Look closer at the manual, I'm sure your model is listed in there. It's just confusing to read.

Confused because it just says LSD oil.

 

If you do not have limited slip, Toyota does not require a 30,000 mile change under normal operating conditions. However, like Janster said, I would service it every 30k no matter what diff it has. JMO.

BTW, I'm going by what my 2008 owner's manual maintenance guide says.

Will go with your guys suggestion to do it at every 30K since it is pretty simple, however since it isn't listed at all under normal driving what is Toyota's actual deal on this? That if you don't have an LSD and don't tow anything it never needs done?
