I thought about the cuddy hole as well, however, it holds my staff card to get into work and I was eventually going to need more than 3 extra switches.

It was a lot more then I expected to do today that's for sure! every time I though ti got close I found something else it tucked behind. The passenger airbag was dropped, the panel below the Steering column was dropped, most of the center console came out. I sure learned a hell of a lot today about how everything clicks together. I actually did this with the battery connected... in hindsight, I should have disconnected it. The good news is that you can access all the new ports with removing the radio. Thankfully I won't have to do that again! i also have a ton more pics if anyone ever needs them.

@Khrolar no airbag deployments, no foul, eh?

It's a little easier to pull the climate panel if you loosen up the radio bolts, but as you note you don't have to actually remove it.

I figured i didn't have to remove it, but since I'm doing the nav/backup camera anytime mod next i wanted to take a look at the wiring.

Where is this? I recognize Roosevelt lake but wasn't sure if that trail was Apache trail or something different. Always looking for different off road trails around the metro area!

Love that T4R. It's almost nicer than the Taco!
Also, next time don't use opaque photoshop to blank out the plate:rofl:

Chevy doesn't do it either. No one does anymore. But Dodge did.

Did a lot since my first post here. Installed the tonneau cover, running boards, got the tint repaired (damn bubbles, I am that asshole.), console organizer, and AVS in-channels. Found some snow Friday night and went to the beach yesterday.

Today, we rescued my Cards Against Humanity game and my McMenamins passport - which were unfortunately held hostage after a good bourbon night - and installed the interior LEDs and hitch cover. Also let my Papa take him out for a ride, dude was stoked. Said the truck is "Good 'n nasty" with that scoop and growl. Haha

A few more little bits and pieces on the way, arriving in the next 10 days or so.

Also, there's been some discussion with regards to Fords. I've got to express my appreciation for them. I was in a pretty legit accident with my last car about a month ago now, which is how I came to purchasing the Taco. My '12 Focus Titanium, Grace, was pretty awesome. The thing had zip, was amazing in our recent snow storms in PDX, and took damn good care of me. We were in a head on collision at a combined speed of about 75mph and I walked away with 3 broken ribs. Love my Taco and 'ppreicate the HELL out of my Ford.

The header rail was no big deal at all.
I had to go buy a T30(I think) torx socket, but it was really easy.
I got the rail on Amazon, but sometimes it's a prime only item (retardation). If they do that to you, go to toyotaofdallas parts website.

I've also been considering building a "tacoma bike buddy" or whatever it's called. That is why I got the rail.

We started on Four Peaks road off of the beeline. Drove to the top then took the back way down into Tonto Basin. Then drove over to Roosevelt dam and into Miami and back to the valley. Really cool day of exploring. Wanted to take the Apache trail back but was getting late in the day
