Havent gone wheeling, Just the LH side ,I looked at the new one before the dealership installed it ,it has a rubber o ring to seal water out.Not sure if any others are having this problem.
I even thought about sealing around the o ring ,but that would void the warranty.
So I'll see how long this one will last only have 22/m.
My wild guess they just keep replacing till factory warranty runs out.

If it does it again make the dealer seal it up better

That sucks, they will probably redesign it at some point if they have to keep replacing them.

I think I'm just bored at work and a lil over tired... but I chuckled at the double entendre...

Unfortunately yes, I've also been dealing with this for months now.

The TL;DR points of what I've learned:
    • These housings have been used since 2014 in Tundras, part number 81270-0C040. Apparently with no issue on Tundras.
    • There's no left side/right side part number, but generally if yours leaks it's only going to be on one side and not the other.
    • The water apparently intrudes from the back of the housing, along the wiring harness.
    • The bulb housing O-ring itself is fine (tested by dunking a housing into a cup of water: as long as the water level does not pass the harness connector, light remains dry)
    • Dealers have no idea WTF to do, cases have been reported to Corporate, official solution at this point appears to be "keep replacing housings until customer gets bored of getting replacement housings"
    • Some members have permanently silicone sealed their wiring harness and stopped the leak
This is partially why I want an aftermarket plate bumper, but sadly a lot of fab shops out there advertise "uses stock bulb housings" as a feature.

My first ones did this but the second set have been fine for almost a year now. I am sorry to hear you are so unlucky. Keep taking it back until its fixed; but I understand that is ridiculously annoying and a waste of your time.

I'll have to look at mine. I keep noticing the one is doing a strobe light effect when I'm looking at it in the reverse camera. Maybe it's got water in it.
