Exactly... wix makes probably 75 percent of the filter market out there. All of today's synthetic oils can hit 15 easy . It's the filters that get shot. From what I remember 300hrs is approximately the life span. But is that extra $60 your saying worth prematurely wearing out your engine...

I have a buddy from work that has a few trail cams up there, he has been trying to get up to them for a few weeks but it was probably 3 feet deep last week. I'm sure with the weather the past few days it is even worse now.

im sure the filter may be designed for 15k, but that just doesnt pass the test in my own head haha. seems way too long for the filter to go unchanged. but then again i dont work with/for amsoil and have no idea of their science behind it.

great point to add +/- half a quart for the filter change.

im debating tryin the 10k mark with oil, while changing the filter every 5. I have yet to commit though haha. alwasy change it at around 5-5.5k. i tell myself though, thats why im buyin the synthetic, for a better, longer lasting oil.

nope, no it is not haha

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I go every 7.5k and don't have anything negative to say about it right now. And I'm doing full synthetic myself

Nothing wrong with trying to go for more miles. Most synthetics can do it. Best bet if you are worried is to do a Blackstone Lab oil test at 5k, then at 7.5k, and then again at 10k. (obviously not 10k if it comes back bad at 7.5k).

Filter wise...cut it up to see :) THis is a good thread on different filters though

its funny you post that bc I was jus watching youtube videos that broke down 5 leading filters and explained the make up/why certain filters are better than others.

I hate other forums. People are idiots.

Has anyone heard of negative affects from an aftermarket muffler? Like higher intake temps and messing with the tuning and transmission shifting? Fucking automatics and computers... sounds insane.

I want a muffler for my Ram 1500 Hemi. I can't honestly decide if I want loud but civilized... or just loud. Leaning more towards plan old loud. Hell I plan on having a straight piped diesel so...

Anyways should I toss a flowmaster 40 delta flow in there? Or a magnaflow? I can't figure out how magnaflows work like which is louder, what shape, size, etc....

Anyone know the best way to access the center dash switches or do you just have to pull the whole dash?
