    I only have 1relay so far (light-bar) going to mount it by the breaker to be more specific

    Water proof relays and heat shrink
    and call it good
    When I wash my engine bay and dirty battery:D I'll cover it up just to be safe!! When wheeling through mud puddles and such it does sling muddy water in there but I think I'll be safe

    IMG_2761.jpg I've got mine installed but need the weather to cooperate for final pictures. Made my own with some sheet metal from Home Depot, a rattle can, some drill bits and grommets from Lowe's. The rest of the hardware came from Amazon or eBay.
    The random screws are to mount my relays on the underside.

    Drivers side, two open threaded holes next to factory fuse block but not covering. I will have pictures tomorrow of it mounted with three spots filled.

    The wires under the plate are from my compressor that run too big of fuse for the fuse block.

    Same as it takes for sheet metal, except bending it is a LOT more interesting.

    And then, a lifetime of worrying that it shatters when it gets a little bit of gasoline on it.

    I can see benefits of using metal and lexan. I hope I'm not spilling gasoline on my lexan circuit board under the hood! :eek: Fwiw, my lexan sheet is closing in on 1/4".
