I observed that the Mother's synthetic wax that I applied back in September is holding up very well after nearly 6 months (3 months of snow & ice). For those that say wax doesn't last more than a couple months - hogwash!

 

I just hope I don't look like this when it happens:

 

As long as I keep food in the dog's bowl she doesn't care how I spend my money. I'll leave it at that.

Funny thing is, I was looking at those last night too.

I was wondering that too. I just ordered a 2' Firestik. I don't need to talk to the space station, and I probably won't even use it unless I'm road tripping or wheeling with certain friends. But I also don't want to burn up my radio.

 

I feel your pain man! I hit one last summer! I am surprised your estimate is that low...it looks like you hit it pretty square. Mine was on the driver side third of the front end.

Mine was over $10k...pretty much everything from and including the inner radiator support forward had to be replaced. Took 7 weeks to get it back. Nothing sucked worse than being without my truck all summer!

 

Now if only your truck was orange

You have to pop the dash out, and then the gauge trim pc snaps off from behind.

Gimme a sec and i'll find the how to I followed and post the link.

Tail end 2011?

Not all 2011's have the newer cluster.

Kinda like how some of either the late 2012's lost bed cubby pockets over the wheel wells.

 

I have no idea?

 

I guess toward production of 2012's the 2011's started getting upgrades.

Sort of like when they removed the bed cubby pockets they used up the remaining inventory of what they had and so you see them disappear mid model year.
