It is certainly possible a mid year shift in parts happened. I have that on other cars. I wonder if others with the MY2011 have which type of gauge cluster?

I have to admit, I am not a fan of the color scheme of the earlier types(orange) as some members have changed them, which looks great. I really do like how the older cluster has all the numbers upright and on the speedo gives numbers for every 10MPH. Maybe mesh the two.

Love those WeatherTech mats. The only brand I have found who paid attention to detail.

I happen to agree with this very much as when I did the LEDs for reverse lights, it just changed the color. I was looking for better lighting in the reverse camera. That didn't happen. Higher wattage halogens, if I recall correctly, went from 15W to 24W (I could be way off, but I know it was more) was the solution. I guess adding extra lighting would be good too. Plus the instantaneous LED flash that happens when you shift from Drive to Park got annoying quick. Always felt like some with a camera phone was behind me taking a picture. Halogens don't do that.

Those look like radio harnesses. Someone is doing a radio?

It is possible to be brighter, but a solid LUX test would be great to see before and after (sorry, the engineer in me always wants quantitative results)

But you still have the LED flash when shifting.

Those are halogen 12v landscaping bulbs.. and I hear you, lumen ratings are BS. these are definitely far far brighter than the stockers tho

    Is that... a landscaping light?

Never even thought to use something like that. Does it get hot? I'm about to rip the LEDs I put in my reverse bulb location out because I can attest that brighter doesn't mean better. Got too excited about a mod without really researching the effects of it. On TacomaWorld. Imagine that!

Yes they are available everywhere. You need to bend in the prongs in the socket with a small screwdriver to seat the bulb securely. I've had them in for 30k in my 2015 and 100k on my old tacoma and they never fell out or melted the housing, even when using the reverse bulbs as area lighting and so on.

I am amazed at how many upgrade to that. I ripped mine out before I even got my license plates. We have a Highlander with the Entune and I am not exactly impressed (personal opinion)

Plus lack of audio out options, functionality in the navigation, integration Apple Car Play and native Spotify app.
