Would love to have made it, I live for spur of the moment stuff. Truck isn't close to being ready for adventuring yet and too much going on to make it sadly.

Where did you manage to score sites in the Maze with that short of notice?

Wish I could join, truck is rather immobile at the moment...

Oh and yes there were plenty of permits open in the maze for camping..surprisingly. Island in the sky and canyon lands itself..not so much.

Luckily the Maze even in the busy season, is still very remote and back country like. Only the real enthusiasts go there so plenty of camping available.

Im staying at Cleopatra's chair, High spur, Millard. Then we are going to be semi tourists and go see the Delicate arch and do two of the three trails in Arches.

March-Oct is considered the busy season there. Depends on where you go. Mike and i certainly barely had any encounters with people, especially other offroaders.

But the popular trails will have traffic. Im certain we will have it on TOTW.

We will be getting there in the evening on Monday night so perfect!

No. Just borrowed Marc's old relentless rails for a temp solution, doesn't work well with my tire rack.

The only part of Dome I've done is the Kokopelli seciton.

Haven't been to White Wash, but ran a bunch of random roads up that way NW of Moab one of the times I was there. Secret Spire, Dellenbaugh tunnel, Spring Canyon point, crystal geyser. Lots of cool stuff up there that gets overlooked. Nothing too technical though.
