Just put some spacers on while I wait for the SCS wheels to come available. Parked next to my colleague's Tacoma. He told me to stop it. LOL!!! He's a friend.

To make the OffRoad perform anywhere close to the Sport you need to add the new TRD Sport Viagra springs. Goodbye soft suspension.

Ok weather cleared up so I chanced the colder weather and threw em on, took about 10 minutes per tire, but all in all a pretty easy job. Love the way it looks. 1.25" spidertrax spacers.

Thats just about my stance using +10 offset wheels. Anything between zero and +10 has that look. If go with a minus offset you stick out far enough to need mud flaps or risk damaging your lower body paint. Anything looks better than the tucked in +30 offset stock stance IMO.

Ah, O.K. You mean lower, right? While I had the 2 parked together, I thought the Sport looked a little taller. Personally I thought the OR rode a little stiffer, but smoother. The Sport was soft, but was harsher over bumps and bad road. The OR felt like it soaked up the bumps better. That could be due somewhat to the lower profile tires. The Sport also felt twitchier to me.
Personally I like the ride of the off road better.

Half way home from work.....my tpms light came on. Watched the pressure drop slowly as I drove. Upon arriving home, I found the hole....aired it up and headed to the tire shop. They tell me it's not repairable and too close to the shoulder. I'm not a tire tech, but it looks far enough in from the shoulder to fit a patch if you ask me. Going for a second opinion tomorrow before I drop $185 on a new tire. For now, I plugged it myself.

Sucks because the truck is two weeks old....not even 900 miles on these tires. Ugh!

Wanted to change things up, and have more black to match the grill. Ordered and installed black mirror covers.
