I think you can buy them from Toyota. Anyone know the brand or who makes them for Toyota?

Loooveeee In-N-Out. Luckily I live 5 minutes away from one. I always bring my guests from other states and countries there and they absolutely love it. You can't beat the price either, you can get a Double-Double combo meal for like $6 dollars. If I went to McDonalds for say a Double Quarter Pounder Meal it would be like $8 dollars. TBH 5 Guys is super overrated. I found the fact that they have to plaster their walls with their awards and rave reviews is kind of tacky.

One thing I hate about In-n-Out is their narrow drive through line, since you have to line up in an 'S' it's hard to maneuver with the Tacoma's cruise ship-esque turning radius. Speaking of that, I am fearful to make U-Turns at intersections sometimes. The turning radius is HUGE and the truck is long. I have to make a like a question mark to turn.

Eh, maybe I'm just not good at making U-Turns. Lol. I see UPS trucks do it all the time.

I always thought mine could carve pretty tight for truck. But even if I can't make it I usually keep going and just pop a wheel onto the curb :p

Damn when I first got this truck I ALWAYS popped the damn curb. I still do sometimes. I was so used to driving a Mercedes E320 sedan that the wide steering radius and length of the Tacoma threw me off. When I went to pick up my new bedliner I actually hit the adjacent truck parked next to it in the parking lot when backing into the space. I think the guy who was selling it saw the sheer look of terror on my face and winked at me and said "you didn't hit it". I hit a parked old ass F250 with a steel bumper, thing was unscathed. Meanwhile I have a big dent on the rear fender.

Parking on the other hand, I am still horrible at parking. It takes skill to park this thing. Lol. I found that if you 'hesitate' when steering into the spot (ie: turn at the very last moment) it parks straighter. I'm so used to driving a sedan as my DD... #firstworldproblems

Never had issues with parking or maneuvering blind (the cap makes this a necessity), I've got some sort of weird ability to visualize the truck and the layout from overhead when I'm doing slow speed stuff. Took me a little while to get used to having the relentless bumper though as it sticks out a bit compared to a 95 bumper which is like perfectly flat with the front of the truck. I used to be able to get the truck within a 1/2 inch of another bumper or parking barrier with the stock bumper. Still parallel park it about every day for school though, always fun to come back to find people shying away from the steel front bumper. The last Nissan Maxima I had turned like absolute garbage though, only a turn and a quarter before it hit the stops and boy that car would be impossible to park in a tight lot without reversing.

Maybe I'm just bad at driving ahaha.

Initially when I got the truck I didn't even think Tacomas came with power steering. That's how bad it was for me. I had to fight the steering wheel to turn. It was a combination of the larger than OEM tires, low air pressure, and old P/S fluid. I put on new stock tires (biggest regret ever it's like the truck missed leg day every time I see it, didn't know of TW yet.), and flushed the P/S system. On the other hand, it's a LOT easier to turn than it used to.

How big were the tires that were on it? Mine turns pretty easy I think and mine are quite a bit larger than the 225/75/15R it came with.

I want to say 235? I don't remember, I have to check the Costco papers. My naive self told the Costco tire guy "OH YEAH SLAP THE OEM SIZES ON THERE." I didn't realize how much smaller the stock tires were versus the all-terrain tires it had.

It was high time I replaced them, I actually skidded on the roundabout outside my neighborhood one day. Did a full 180. Surprised I didn't flip over. Tires only had like 50k on them I think.

Again, I was super naive at the time.

Huh, that's weird, 235s arent huge even in 235/85/16 form. My steering is just slightly firmer than when I got the truck and that is because I tightened the rack bushing a bit more because I like firm steering, but bigger tire made hardly any difference for me.

Have one kind of like that, solid light too, think I got it at Wally World. I was talking about a couple truck mounted lights, I use my tailgate as a kitchen surface when camping so I'd like to have a light shine on that and maybe one off to the side of the truck for illuminating my tent (not cool enough for a roof tent)

Gotchya. I know you wanted truck mounted lights, but this is the best light I've found for doing most things at night:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PXUL4CU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's gotten me back on a couple of difficult rock climbing trips where going the wrong way would be a big problem - they come with a car charger. Use it a lot working on my truck at night too.

Is that stiffer than hell in the front end? I just got the windows to legal max dark tint, planning to poach my dual batt, CS-144 alternator and wiring, compressor, tank and horn from old truck, the console, find some buckets instead of the split bench, beef up the back springs in a cheap way, plumb in my homebuilt heat exchange shower, put led cubes in bumper and move turn signals, led backups, job box in bed, road sign sheet tonneau, padlocked sides on tailgate, backup cam and monitor, power mirror swap, medical tint on windshield, overhead rifle rack, ignition kill switch, solar panel on tonneau, ladder rack awning, PDC for cigs, relayed fogs and backups, fridge, cigs and radio, homeade evap cooler in cab, bug screen/ security side window panels, single din stereo and CB in double slot, firestick on drivers side. just the basics

Hmm, for $20 I'm in. I have tons of 18650 batteries and a charger in the truck already so seems like a good addition to the family.
