They are definitely helping out a little. It's sort of a good and bad thing having them so close! But really, they are just a great shop and probably the only place I'd let touch my truck.

As far as the Deaver vs. OMW/Dakar, i think it's more a matter of personal preference. Though SDHQ did work directly with Deaver in the development and testing of the u402's for this type of application. The Deavers offer a great on road ride without being overly stiff or noisy while still having the ability to support the added weight of a tent/gear.

As for brake lines, they aren't totally necessary but definitely something I will be upgrading soon.

Hey, where's the best spots on the bed sidewalls to install additional brackets for strapping and what not (that won't get yanked when I tighten a ratchet strap)? My tonneau cover takes away my tracks so I only have the D rings on the bed floor to strap to. Thanks in advance!

might want to check out the Total Chaos bed stiffener brackets. They give you a few more tie down points.

try it in your cab on a hot day.... Im from AZ and I can confirm that the cab cools quicker with the vents pointed up.

Also in my case, I just dont like cold air blasting me so, this allows the air to cool me without hitting me right in the face

I mean, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that some aspects of physics disagree with your statement. It may cool/feel to cool faster with the vents pointed up due to a variety of reasons, but cold air sinking is not one of them.

This is a fairly common discussion among PC builders, and the results of multiple tests show that air under pressure [the tests usually used positive, not negative] doesn't really have the option to rise/sink appropriately. In a system with more volume and less air pressure, yes, cold air sinks and hot air rises, like in your house.

I don't want to come off as rude, I'm just relaying the results of testing and data -- the truck may very well cool quicker with the vents up, but perhaps not for the reasons initially thought.

Here in Wisconsin, we're usually more concerns with how quickly the car can warm up, rather than cool down ;)

If you get the army surplus rings you can add them to the top corner by the tailgate. I find them super useful.
