If you get one of the decent aftermarket boxes, it will not only add a lock, but it will also double the size of the storage area.

I guess I can rephrase the question. Can you survive out there in the bush if things go sideways and for how long? Truck is broken, no cell phone reception.

I'm the man, I wear the pants in my family. She just tells me which pair on what day.

How is everyone sealing the bed storage? I purchased Mobtown locking doors and want to seal the storage compartments.

    Thanks

    Truck stuff
I've read people using some sort of silicon and cutting wire loom or something round in 1/2 to keep the door attachment area clear from the silicon for door movement.

Just essential stuff, boys , survival things. Something that can possibly extend your life in the bush when you have nothing else but your truck (dead)

    None...yet
As of recently, behind the seats is a bitchin Eq/amp/sub setup. But still, in the spirit of the thread...Jumper cables, 3 flares the BNSF railroad may have donated to me, 4x rachet straps, 2x bungee cords, 2x red shop towels, 2x sets of black nitrile gloves, heavy scissors, lighter, razor knife, maglight, 50ft paracord, 8x8 tarp, 10x-ish zip ties, Tylenol, phone charger, 1x fork&knife, paper towels everywhere. 2x clamps
And I can't recommend strongly enough 2x airline blankets. They're big enough to cover you, small enough to store and because they're airline equipment they're at least somewhat fire retardant. And let's face it, you paid for it in full, and thensome.
    Seriously, airline blankets. Get some.

Agreed with blankets. Have an opportunity to score one from the outdated emergency kit.
So what's about heavy scissors? What kind and what for?
