Now that you've had the kings for a while, what's the verdict?

Is it mildly better than before, or night and day?

The reason I ask is, I rode in a truck the other day with fox C/Os and 35's. It was amazingly smooth. Like, my truck rides like shit compared to it. I'm sure it's a combination of both, but I'm curious whether that is more attributed to the performance coilovers and shocks, or to the massive, aired down tires.

Night and day. Speed bumps can be taken at 15 mph and feel like they were at 5mph. Every little bump isn't there. I haven't done a full wheeling trip with them yet, but when I went camping last time I put them to the test on the gravel road. My roommate has a Go-Pro video of the drive to the road, took 1:30 seconds to go maybe a mile or so. Got to 5th gear I think. I'll see if he can post it.

But I recommend them to everyone if they can afford it

I was afraid you'd say that. Ha ha. It's amazing what perspective will do for you. Here I've been thinking my truck rode pretty good. I'm sure the skinny tires don't help that any.

My OME's have a whole lot of life in them, yet. Will probably be looking to upgrade when they die. If the Windrock thing comes to fruition, you'll have to take me for a ride so I can feel for myself.

So 2 weekends ago I finally installed my rotopax that have been sitting for a while and my maglite. I was trying to get my hood struts installed but I either need to borrow a different drill or remove my hood. We shall see what happens tomorrow (doing some mini mod day stuff). I also attempted to lubricate my doors but could get the panels off so I gave up not wanting to break anything. I'll try again another time. Anyways here are some pics

Gap is huge, I can fit a finger through it but meh, it doesn't make noise. I'll see how it works when I get it full and on a trail.

    Mounted my maglite as well

Also got some more patches in :woot:

The Toyoda one is gone now, mix up with a friend.

:luvya: I can't afford that shit yet. Plus I'm going to wait until I have a swingout so I can throw it up there.

It's not a matter of "I'm gonna wait" or "It's expensive." It's an insurance policy. It's better have the spare, instead of hoping and praying you don't have anything go south.

I do have a spare, just not a full size. It's a 32x11.5 r15. One of the tires my truck came with. Once I get my new rims one of my current tires will become my new spare.

    Haha thanks! :hattip:
