    Is it really $1,800 :bananadead:

I would say the ARB is tried and true and they have get a free compressor deal going right now with purchase. But it is nice to have another select-able locker option.

Same company that builds the TRD rear locker in the third gens so it should be a good locker.

It's 1732 Australian, so about 1300 for you. (And 1735 for me :( lol)
I have nothing against arb, I'm just weird and want an electric front to match the rear.

They post it working on the Tacoma with a gearset 3.91 and up. I would assume the stock 3.90 gearset wouldn't be an issue.
Or is there something that would cause this not to work with the 3rd generations?

The stock gear set is 3.91:1 commonly known as 3.90.

On a side note I have a Harrop locker in the front of my Nissan Patrol and have had no issues out of it.

Harrop builds AWESOME products. If you are in the market for anything, that would be one of the highest qualiy products you can and should not hesitate buying!
