Hey guys newbie here as far as all terrain tires go. I've got a few questions maybe those of you with experience can help me out with. I'm running a set of Dynapro MT front are pretty worn almost bald which spurred my search for tires. I'm also switching to AT since the tires are loud and a large majority of my driving is highway but I'd still like to be able to trek across mud if I have to( nothing close to going to mud bogs).
    1) Is mpg affected by tire weight, E vs C tire? Leaning towards C
    2) What sets have you run and really like, quieter on road, still aggressive enough to take off-road?
    3) I've done some homework just to narrow the discussion, my top picks are BFG AT T/A KO2, General Grabber AT2, Cooper ST Max, and the one I'm leaning towards is Falken Wildpeak AT3W( seems like the best bang for the buck)

Really appreciate your feedback, I'll be checking Discount Tire, Treadquarters, and I've seen some differing opinions on the treadwrights maybe considering those. Thanks!

I spent a lot of time reading and researching tires and just ordered 5: Wild Peak A/T3W
    265 /75 R16 116T SL RBL from DTDirect. I haven't recieved them yet but I'm confident I'll be happy when I do.
$663 for 5 tires with replacement certificates.

That's a great price. Same here did a bunch of reading up and decided to go with the A/T3W. How did you score the $663? Base price I got was $120/tire taxes and certificates for 2 tires came out to $291. Not really complaining as that's probably the best deal I can get for now. Maybe I'll just do 4 don't really know how it will affect the wear running 2 different pairs.

Fallen is offering 50 bucks off a set of four through DTD right now. Even at full price, they seem to be a good deal. We'll see in a year.

I'm using Cooper AT3's on my 4Runner in load c 265/75. Great so far. Smooth rolling and decent in the snow and dirt. Got them for $310 shipped + m&b during the DTD eBay deal + manufacturer MIR
