My service manager told me as long as I kept it below 2" i'd be OK as my case is very well documented

I'm starting to have the vibration on my 2016 with 20k miles on it with no lift. I did this upgrade on my 2nd gen after I lifted it. It worked very nicely.

How much Lucas oil did you order, or I guess how much oil does the front differential hold.
    Thanks

2 quarts sir. You will need ~1.6

Call ahead to see if the parts store has it in stock. I ended up having to go to three different VatoZones

Yeah, have this post saved, as well as a folder with all the parts needed, book marked in my browser...
@smitty99 we pretty much have the same lift (6112's @ 3rd setting, 5160's w/ SumoSprings), I don't have any vibrations or noise as of yet though, and I've been running the this lift since September.
I just ordered a set of HeadStrong Progressive AAL and 1/4" driver lean spacer this morning. So, I'll wait and see if anything changes after those get installed... like I said, so far (*knock on wood*) I haven't had any issues. But everything is bookmarked ready to go, if I do.

OK I am running the 3rd gen 6112s and so the new ones just call for staggering the notches (1 notch higher on the drivers side).... I love the 3 leaf AAL it rides great! Honestly I think the truck rides better than stock and I was very skeptical going in. It corners better, isn't harsh, and it soaks up the rough stuff.

Another believer! I think @Threerun was the first to go this route on TW that was documented for the turd gen? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anyone have a good way to remove the needle bearing without the tool? I have access to a full cabinet of snap on pullers and slide hammer with all the attachments. Just wondering if anyone had success with similar tools. Thanks

Have you loaded it down yet? Does it still hit the bump stops? Have you pulled anything?

I'm going to have this done soon, as I should have my lift installed this week.

Is there any damage that can occur or is more of a nusience than anything else?

Nuisance for a while, but can damage the front diff in the long term. I'd go ahead and get it done while you have it apart for the lift anyways.
