ok. so i got one of the bars from @bayareataco mounted. just had to run a ratchet strap from one side to the other, to suck the sides in a bit and it squeezed in fine. now im figuring out a way to mount this other one. few people have said best option would be to have someone weld the same kind of bracket onto the 2nd bar. that way im not drilling into the top of the bed to mount it. have a guy in brentwood that said he could do it for me if they were steel bars.... not quite sure if they are though. if he doesnt use the brackets from my flat bars, would anybody be interested in them? no rise or anything in them?

 

Because that's how most media rolls with headlines. They insinuate something that may be true in one aspect (sequence) but not another, much more important one (causality), which is sensationalistic and irresponsible. One of my favorite during the Loma prieta quake was "Bay Bridge Collapses" Holy fucking shit! I thought, picturing the entire thing sitting half submerged in the Bay and hundreds dead. Reality, one small portion of deck tipped down at one end and I think one fatality resulted.

 

even after Trump said the SF cats death had nothing to do with them dropping the bomb. the news will still portray it as the reason we dropped it lol
