    10923 I believe.

But since i'm using it for transportation....less hooligan activities commence. Also, I just take different routes than i'd normally take....but other than that, I barely get to just ride to ride. I also still have not been able to get together with any riding buddies or make any new riding buddies :(

Need to figure out what i'm supposed to do about my pinion preload. Set it the same? I don't know what it currently is and don't want to just eye ball it.

Or set it to more bacause of the bigger tires?

    Halp.

The torque specs on the nut that bolts the flange to the pinion.

Thr flange is what you bolt the drive shaft to.

I need the torque and preload specs

After some further diagnosis, pinion bearing is gone. I believe a pin in the bearing has come out and is being held in place by one of the races. It sounds like gravel and then there is a thud at a certain point in the rotation. Seems to be around the same position every time. It also seems to be a thud at low speed and turns into my whirling/howling noise at speed. Have to order a third from ECGS. I have many questions for them though.

    Are they built to order?

Are the gears new? They say the bearings are all new...

    Is the housing new?

Should I do a solid spacer?

Is the diff open, mechanical LSD, or what?

Which pinion flange do I need?

How do I remove the third? Do I have to pull the half shafts comepletely out? How do I get them out?

What will happen with my core? Can someone diagnose it and give me a report?

Is there anything else I should replace in this process?

What diff fluid should I use?

Yes axles will need to be pulled. 4 bolts backside of brake shields. Brake lines will need to be removed. E-brake cable will need to be removed.
Remove all bolts on clam. Pull straight back.
Oh, drain the fluid first...sounds like this is already done.

On re install ensure old seal is completely removed, new seal should be seamless.

    Have fun
