WeatherTechs or Huskies

I'm looking to add floor mats to both the front and back of my 2005 DC. Not sure which to go with and who has the best price? Suggestions welcomed!

weather techs fit better while huskies actually cover the area up behind the pedals. The weather techs also cover the sill area. I would go with the weather techs if you have the money.

I also have Weathertechs and love them. I did not have to cut mine at all. The fit and look are perfect. These things are very strong as well. They get my vote

My parents have Huskies and in my opinion (and theirs) they are terrible, especially in comparison to the custom cut WxTechs.

 

Truth. Very few who have seen both in person prefer the Husky's.

That was one bummer about my 2000 Tacoma, (along with the swiss cheese frame) is that WT didn't have liners for that model.

I tried about 3 other makers including the Husky's in that truck and all left tan (dirt / grime) lines when entering.

 

i have huskys all i've ever used...

 

I installed huskies about 2 weeks ago and am very happy, i live in snow and mud country, and like the way i dont have to worry about the carpet any more. they fit perfectly, and remove easily to dump the crud and wipe clean, quite simple and effective imho!

 

Im in Minnesota, and between all the snow, slush, rain, etc. my carpets have yet to get wet. And yes, I do have the mounting clips. I have read where others had moisture get through, but not me. I gotta wonder what the heck you fellas are doing to have all that water in your floor mat though.

 

I agree.

I live a half hour outside of Buffalo, New York and have never had seepage through the holes.

Sometimes you wonder if common sense (or lack there of) comes into play on those several accounts we have heard of.

The lack of coverage from the sill in while getting in with salty grime dripping from you feet would obviously be the more likely to damage with a product providing inferior coverage.

 

One word : Weathertech, remember you get what you pay for!
