Doubt it, but the only time I ran it I was breaking ice in the creek.

What time of year was that? I recall seeing photos of your trip (possibly with Eric and James)?

Well my leak down test wasn't accurate. The first time and started doing it again today and was getting much better results. Just to make sure I was doing things right I gave LCE a call and Mike recommended that I pull the valve cover to do the test. Replacing the valve cover gasket is in my list just not right now so I'm going to wait until I have all the parts to do that.

I'm pretty sure what was happening before is that I was on the exhaust stroke on cylinders 2 and 3 causing the high percentage of leaking. Today I had about 10% leakage on cylinder #3. Anyone know on an I4 if cylinder 1 and 4 are on compression stroke when 2 and 3 are exhaust? This would make sense with my readings the other day. Headed to Google to find out!

Your on 35's and have a snorkel! Lol I think flash floods may be the only thing we will really have to worry about.

Also, make sure to hit Lockhart Canyon out and back if you have a little extra time. Sweet little offshoot down to the river.

How long is the Trifecta (golden spike, goldbar, poison spider) time/mileage wise? Traildamage says 11 hrs for golden spike - is this possibly for all three or is golden spike truly that long?

That's got to be for all three, or out and back via Goldbar. You can't do Golden Spike without doing one or the other. Trifecta is run poision spider - spike- bar.

The trifecta is a full day, small group of equipped rigs with good drivers could make it through in 8 hours probably if you don't waste any time or have any issues. I think it took us like 10 or 11, but we screwed around some, and got held up and the end for at least an hour by a big group.

I dig it! I would probably only run the first piece on each side though, something like that.

Jelly! Do some recon for our trip!

Also @Reh5108 this was the broken CV video I was talking about.

Yeah, you should have stayed to your right going down that, but that is the line going up.

I was worried about sliding and hitting my bumper hard or blowimg a bead on a tire. Ive seen that happen before.

Honestly i think if i had the clearance to i could make it up the middle but being somewhat cripple i didnt want to attempt it. We had plent of time to watch other rigs make the middle line.
