Anyone crammed either a 285/75/16 or 255/85/16 under their bed where the stock spare is stored? pics to prove? clearance issues or modifications needed?

Yep on my 11 and 15. Easy peasy, just bend the brackets a bit.

Bang stock brackets out and I also cut off the rear exhaust hanger since I dumped my exhaust after the axle

Do i need to be concerned about melting the tred with the exhaust so close to spare? Or does chopping solve that issue?
