The only thing I would be concerned about if I were you would be the alternator. I know it's hard to do, but our alternators aren't built to be put through mud! lol. I think the inner fender skirt and a decent set of skids can take care of everything else for you!
ps. when and where is this meetup? I might make it if the time is right.

Alternators can be cleaned out pretty easy if you do experience mud in it. The one I saw had the brushes packed with mud and they weren't able to brush the commutator bars
