Guys. Been a while since I posted. Haven't really had any issues. Welp... got one that's stumped me. Noticed my A/C blower wasn't working the other day. Gave it the old Russian treatment by pounding the dash above the radio a few times... well that brought it back to life. It will go about a week and do it again. A few more taps and back to life. Anyone else experienced this? Blows cold when it runs. Don't think it's a compressor problem. Lose wiring? It's got 185k miles on it so there is bound to be some issues. Don't know what to do with this one. Thanks in advance for any imput.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
next time it happens, push/pull on fan speed knob.
My 05 would randomly turn off AC. The copper contact behind fan speed knob wasn't getting good contact sometimes. I bent it slightly to create more pressure on contacts and smeared more electrical grease along it. Worked fine after that. Careful not to break plastic clips.

Glad to help. I've seen so many times that banging on a starter or gas tank makes motors come to life that it makes sense that the same applies to a blower motor.

I'm dredding the day when the heater core starts leaking. Ugh! What an awful job.
