    Yeah and no swaybar so the stiffer springs might help a bit with leaning

    Haha I love when it freaks passengers out. I'm completely comfortable with how fast I can take corners, but they all come from BMWs and Civics and are not used to any body roll.

    Hey noob question for you guys. Are you more likely to roll when off camber without a swaybar? It would seem to me if you are on a slanted road, the sway bar would keep your center of gravity from getting past the point of no return.

    Yeah if you're going full plate and no sway that'd tip the scales in favor of 700#. If I was still running a sway and had the pelfrey bumper or something light like a hybrid (no full plate) I'd stick with 650#. Remember with my coilover on the passenger side I'm barely level with the driver and that's absolutely bottomed out on the coil adjuster. So depending on your setup you MIGHT be left not being able to lower it if you're lighter.

    Worse case scenario just add a dual battery lol.

    Hahah yeah my entire group of friends always comment on how I'm gonna tip over on turns. Would be funny if we all did a trail run with them..minds would be blown

    I would say no since the no sway bars are allowing your suspension to flex and keep you planted. With sway bars you're more likely to get tires off the ground making it more tippy

    @LTDSC @dtaco06 this is why I recommended 650#.

    This is my truck, currently at just a hair under 3" lift, CV fins barely touching. RTT, Shrockworks full plate bumper (probably the heaviest 5th gen bumper), winch, battery, full steel skids.

    Maxxed out on adjustment threads, cannot go any lower unless I maybe add another battery on that side. But I already have an ARB twin + air tank, so might be a moot point in terms of weight over that axle.

    On the driver's side I have a 31M and the gas tank, so I was able to have some room for adjustment.

    jealous of the lack of threads. What length springs?

    MOAR LIFT

    @SixthSnail might make it easier:

    Going 700# vs. #650

    PROS
    Ditch sway bar, will help with body roll
    Don't have to preload as much to get a lift
    Can go past the 2.5" lift recommendation from King because you don't have a lot of preload
    Will handle a little better on turns, spring taking most of the weight
    Cooler/manlier.

    CONS
    Shitty front flex. Fine on extension, but crappy compression because of the weight. I jacked up the rears one side at a time, fronts hardly sagged at all. Static test, not sure if I'd get better results on a physical ramp.
    If you don't have enough weight in front, might end up with too much lift.
    CV axles if not enough weight.
    Running full open/soft on my Kings, still slightly jarring without weight.

    I will have my 75 lbs bumper insert, 75 lbs winch, a single optima red top battery, aluminum skids. I'm very preloaded on my 650s though.

    Those are only 13" coils though. King coils are 14". It's less preload than you think

    Love the ride (especially in the rear) without sway bars. It was a night and day difference on the trail.

    With sway bars, whenever I hit a washout or a rut at speed the truck body would jolt into the rut- basically the body moved with the axle into whatever hole I was planted in. Without, it feels like the axle drops into the hole and the body stays pretty level unless it goes past the droop of the axle/shock. If you go without, I'd really recommend cycling your suspension to test out what the limiting factors are. I found out recently that my brake lines/ebrake cables were mainly holding my axle in position at full droop and fixed it real quick. Now it's probably the shock, which is probably just as bad, lol. With the sway in place, those are the limiting factor so that's why people break those endlinks if they don't go with extended links right out the gate.

    @4Running Daily said what I was just about to say. Icons come with 13" 650# coils, Kings are 14". So already you have to preload the Icons a bit more to compensate for that 1" loss at the spring.

    That's my theory. No sway bars help the tires stay on the trail.

    I see that, but wouldn't they allow less roll to get the body past that point?

    @dtaco06 I didn't have a swaybar for this

    Yeah but in that case it would have allowed the body to tip even further, putting me past the breaking point and rolling down the hill
