Update time. Warning, lots of pictures ahead.

Came back from a month in Europe, and had received the missing piece to my full skid setup. Tacoma Pro Mid Skid from Pelfreybilt:


Received some bed corner supports and painted them:


Also received a drill-less license plate mount and painted it:


Mounted my CB antenna to one of the corner supports:


Front plate mount:


Installed the mid skid. You can see the difference in the Pro version at the top:


Received some Redline Struts:

Received some power for the bed cubby:


No-ding parking at Home Depot:


Figured these Rigid covers would work on the Pro fogs and they do:


Received some rock lights:


Received some side-projecting ditch lights from CaliRaised:

That's a nice lookin truck man. When I get out of school I got a feeling I'll get one like this!

Couple questions

- got a link to those bumpstops?
- any trouble getting those lenses installled? Clearance looks tight
- where'd the rock lights end up?
- you do the exhaust relo to get the skid plate in?

 

Sub'd. Great mods so far OP. Picked up a cement last week and can't wait to start catching up!

 

- Wheeler's Superbumps: - The yellow Rigid lenses popped right on, but you have to remove the "Rigid" plastic piece to be able to do so. 2 min mod.
- Rock lights are before and after each tire. Hard to get proper pictures but I'll work on it.
- I haven't done the exhaust relocation since my skid has the exhaust cutout. I may do it eventually to get more clearance.

NOTE: you need to cut your cable to size and solder the connection on it. Wasn't a big deal and I'm horrible at soldering.

Then yes, that spring and 2' firestik (so I can fit in garage). I ran a ground to the frame. I can run you through the setup on Sunday morning, just remind me.

 

Nice, yes, please. I'm leaning towards the same radio as you for that clean install

 

Where'd you buy that power outlets for the bed cubby? Were they hard to install? Thanks

It's not hard to install as long as you are capable of running wire to an auxiliary fuse box or to your battery.
