FS TRD Battery Hold Downs

Wish there was someone that made a nice aluminum battery hold down that said Tacoma or SR5 or something other than TRD and TRD Pro...

 

All it takes is money................

Wasn't there already talk of making a Tacoma batch?

 

What I need is 10 people that can commit to the project.

To make one will cost far too much. You need at least 10 people that want to play and will put up a deposit.

 

@Coupe how about a blank one?

 

Blank ones are not a problem. I am currently out, but I can make some. Would you want a narrow or wide?

This is something I have been working with the Tundra guys, this is an adjustable width Battery Hold Down. The Northstar batteries are a little narrower at the top of the battery. There has been some discussion that it would be nice to fit closer to the sides of the battery.

The jaws will adjust to 6" wide to 7" wide.

Price is a little more at $85 shipped to the lower 48 states.

 

@Coupe Can you or do you make these for 1st gens? Or does it take a certain amount of people/interest?

 

Is there anything special about the 1st gens? I know the Tundra 1st gen has an unique mounting arrangement.

That is similar in appearance to the 1st Gen tundras.

It is possible to make, but I would not want to make just one. If I could get ten (10) people that wanted them, I would be willing to tackle them.

 

Ok. Can I post your Thread in the 1st gen forum? Or can you? They seem pretty popular in the 2nd gen forum. I'm sure at least 10 if not more people would be interested.

Just received and installed mine. Beautiful. I believe it works better than the OEM and the hardware is excellent quality. Attached are pics of the battery hold down installed and the rusty OEM one. @Coupe makes an awesome product! I highly recommend!
