If you do exactly this a ton of threads will come up. Some relate to upgraded Tires/Wheels for Limited.

Why do you want to change your wheels? Knowing more about your planned general use would be helpful.

    Is yours 4x4?
What percentage of the time do you plan to be off pavement?
If off pavement, are you in dirt, mud, snow, rocks or what?

265/65/18 is the largest tire you can safely fit on an 18 inch wheel on these trucks without lifting AND plastic trimming as well as some possible cab mount chop needed.

An 18 inch wheel = less rubber, less sidewall so will make for a stiffer ride especially off road.

The limited comes with 18 in wheels - I'm a chrome guy so thought of changing for some nice chrome ones. Yes, it is 4x4. Mostly all for looks. I will be on paved roads 90% of time.

I see 20" chrome rims and a leveling (spacer) lift in your near future.

The Limited is the EXACT same truck as every other model. Features may differ but lifts are the same. You just need to find photos of lifted Tacos.

I think I am just going to go 18's....and I really don't want to go the lift/spacer rout. That's why am trying to get pics and suggestions on biggest tire for doing that with 18's.....

    Thanks to everyone!!!

    Why chrome then?

Chrome is showy, not tough. Just my opinion though.

First thing I did with my SR5 was hide all the chrome. Couldn't stand it on a modern car. I like chrome on old muscle cars though.

it's all taste and Opinion....I guess I like the show. I like the shiny chrome look and I enjoy keeping things clean. I also have a a Harley Street Glide that's chromed out....
