Nice idea with the bedliner spray!!

I like the rubber idea but how hard to remove and return? I switch to a ball at least once a week to pull something...

I'm not sure how long my plastic shims will stay in place but it's still very simple to switch to a ball in the parking lot of a store with no tools or excessive pulling on the step...

I have a little more left/right wiggle than what you have now... Up and down is fine. But i only put shims on top and bottom.

I couldn't hear it from the cab before the shims... But i also have a 40 series exhaust that helps drown out unwanted noises LOL!

I will probably end up investing in that silent hitch pin linked a few pages back... Eventually... That way everything i ever connect will be silent...

I ended up using a locking hitch pin and used rubber washers. I also wrapped it in electrical tape and it doesn't rattle anymore.

So far I can tell a big difference with this combo installed on my truck. I have 0 complaints as of yet. It definitely has that whistle and better throttle response. One thing on my list checked off. So many more to go...

Finally getting my tires mounted to my FN Wheels. That adjustable load bar continues to be useful in unforeseen ways lol

Picked her up last night and got to fiddle with her today. Hardwired my dashcam as well as my V1 radar. Also removed the bed step.

I don't have a pic but I had the XLs and changed to the smaller size. MHO the XLs look to big on the truck if you don't have big tires and a lift. The smaller size has some adjustment in it that you can extend them out about an inch if your worried about flinging stones.

20170603_140513.jpg just installed eibach shocks and eibach/toytec 620# coils. I got about a 2 inch lift. A definite upgrade over the 'stock off road" coils and shocks. Some Mickey Thompson tires next!
