Did the Meguiars clay bar, the rubbing compound, that part sucks, and the wax.
    My thoughts on all three...
All products were applied and removed by hand.

Clay bar, does what it says, to a point. It did actually make the surface smoother and removed the little tiny rough spots. When complete the paint looks really, really clean but had nothing spectacular as far as shine. Did nothing for fine scratches.
It did not remove small spots of dried sap or baked on bugs on the bumper. Fingernail did pretty good on those though.

    Meguiars ultimate liquid compound.
Small sections are key, otherwise that shit sucks balls to get off. It still sucked doing it in small sections, about 2' square, but wasn't as bad. There was more than one "oh shit, it ain't coming off" moment.
This truck is 11 years old and was used like a truck. It's in good shape, but it does have a fair amount of fine to deep scratches. I knew this when I bought it.
An example of one of the medium rated scratches on the tailgate. This one in particular did bother me.

after one application of the ultimate compound.

    Not too shabby.
Still not much in the way of shine, surface was left with a squeaky surface when buffing with a microfiber towel.

    Ultimate liquid wax.
goes on easy, comes off easy, leaves a standard wax like shine and gloss. Nothing to write home about really, I think Mothers Carnauba does a better job tbh.
    No pics of the shine.

Anybody have the torque specs on all the bolts for the rear suspension. U bolts were loose by the way, but it did not fix the noise.

Wah, we didn't use my drill. They shouldn't be over tight :fingerscrossed:
I wonder if the silencer pads are "breaking in" cuz they looked like hard plastic

Did you move the hose connection to the bumper? I'm just trying to figure out the type of hose to use between the compressor and the new outlet location.

I also thought about the possibility of them breaking in.

You need to check them after driving a little anyways. So do it again after a day or two.

I used the supplied hose from the slee kit than got a bunch of fittings and mounted on my bumper.

I drilled my bumper just a smidge too far away, the supplied line was a little too taut.
