I'm going to try to swing by my shock guy and get his opinion. That's the first thing I asked him, I also asked him if it's possible that the spring isn't seated correctly (which could be providing more lift.)

Hahaha yupp that's what I thought it meant. Ya I was pissed to say the least not cause they made a mistake but they totally denied they did anything incorrectly.

Post a pic of it at ride height so we can see the UCA and the CO clearly...those two things should be nowhere near each other at ride height that should only happen at full droop...

Will do. Thanks for everyone's help. You'll see that I have them preloaded, and the comparison between the driver and passenger springs.

On a side note, would a bent spindle cause a similar issue?

certainly enough that you could tell with a straight edge and comparing the two sides.

if this is happening at ride height, something is _way_ out of whack between the two sides.

I looked after work and it may be due to the preload on the coilovers. The passenger is closer than I thought, so I'm looking in to adjusting the heims and getting it aligned.

I'll also be adjusting the coilovers back 1 full turn.

1 full turn is only 1/4" of difference max...

If you are preloaded that close to the spring you are insanely too high and it will never align...and you have nearly zero down travel which is really bad for off-road traction. Do you understand that you can't lift these trucks more than 2.5" -3" max with stock length arms ?

Post a pic so we can see what's the haps

Hey fellers so I have yet another? ? So I'm planning on ordering dakars a d the @ARCHIVE shackle flip bumpstops ext brake lines and u-bolt flip. Now I plan on getting 12" travel king's/icons and the @b.a.m.f shock relocation kit. Unfortunately I don't have the finances to do it all at once my ?? Is doing it in 2 parts is not having the 12" travel shock going to limit the travel of the shackle flip? Currently im running 5100's at all corners. Please any help or info is greatly appreciated

Not having the correct shock will very much limit travel. The solution is to buy as you can, build up a pile of parts, and install all at once.

Maybe just get the dakars with some b110's then save up for the shackle flip and 12" shocks.

True, yo could do just Dakars with the current shocks, and install the rest when you get it together

I agree with the responses so far, the B110's will limit droop with the Archive shackle flip, partly just because you're getting more lift. But they are probably one of the best easy and affordable shocks for droop. Have you seen the forthcoming Archive relocation yet? Fits 2.5" Fox/King up to 14" travel.

Couple questions...is there a thread for this relocation? What kind of springs did you use to test out this relocation? Also, do you know the approximate ride height to get close to even uptravel/downtravel numbers with 14" shocks?

No dedicated thread yet, just been sharing updates in the shackle flip thread
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-premium-shackle-flip-lift-kit.403630/page-49
I haven't had my Tacoma long, and it's a good way to test bump travel, so still on stock springs currently and stock hangers. I'll be installing the shackle flip next week which will help get the droop travel, and I have Deaver SUA springs U539/540 on order.
I wanted to know what stock feels like before switching springs so I can speak from experience with customers.

About 2" lift will allow you to set axle mount for even 7" uptravel/ 7"down travel. At stock ride height, I have 4.5" of shock shaft before the 3/4" tall shock bump touches to shock body.
