CD Stuck

I've been using my USB flash to play all my music but decided for the first time to play a CD just to check the sound difference. After checking the CD player I tried to eject the CD and it is stuck in the player. Anyone have this issue and if so, how did you fix the problem. Tks TW

 

You should sell the truck, as well all know 3rd gens are junk, and use the money to purchase a new CD.

Have you contacted the dealership? I would be curious what they say.

 

I don't need the CD player but just asking if there is a DIY fix, if not that disk will stay in there forever

I am sure you could take out the radio and then take it apart. I have stuck things in a CD player before to push on the cd and that made it spit it out, but I wouldn't do that on a new system in a new vehicle.

 

Is it a CD that you made or one that you purchased? Burnt cd' s are thicker and won't eject.

 

I smash my dash over the HU and the cd comes out... been like this for the last 3 years

When you press the eject does it sound like. Is the system trying to spit it out?
I would try to use another cd to gently push in while pressing the eject button. I would also find something tweezer like and try to grab the cd, even possibly getting something under the cd and try to assist it while pressing eject.
But again this is messing with something that's new and any of my suggestions could cause more harm than good.
Hey if it's a good disk, just enjoy it for a few years.

Final update, On my lunch break I decided to try and remove the stuck CD so I put another CD half way in and it allowed the stuck CD to eject on my first try. Good to Go!
