Badass 3rd gens on dealer lots-- what mods are these?

What does that chop cut do? Is that to fit larger wheels or for access to something?

Ford dealer added $15k for the same treatment on an F150 a salesman tried to show me.

Ended up with the Runner. Will go fullsize next.

 

I ran into this one at a dealer here in austin... they wanted $9999.99 for a 6" custom spacer lift! LOL

My mileage has gotten a lot better since passing the 2k mileage mark, as predicted by a few members.

 

Honestly, I am so ignorant about truck mods. I could have easily been sold into buying something like that.

there is also convience to not having to research mods, read tons of forums, and going to different shops just mod a truck that I will take off road maybe 4 times a year. The time sink part alone is worth avoiding.

Plus the all costs would be deferred at a low autoloan finance rate.

 

Is the convenience worth 10K?

 

Holy hell! I've never seen such a thing?! That's so scary!

 

10k worth of upgrades could be great coil over suspension, front and rear bumper, full armor skids, sliders, lights, roof rack, and a bunch of other items. Or, a 6" "custom" spacer lift. Not too hard a choice LOL

 

• Getting bend over by a dealer with all those cheap mods, PRICELESS!
