Thanks man. I really can't wait to paint those wheels black and throw a lift and tires on it.

Oh man!! So I got some new swaybar end links in because the boots are torn on my current ones, but turns out that won't fail you for state inspection! Going to return them soon.

Here's the only car related pic I haven't posted yet. Got my mom a double din headunit for Mother's Day, and while I was home I installed it! First time using an actual soldering gun and MAN did it work great.

On a whim I offered this dude $300 for his shell, and he said sure. Gonna go meet him in a few hours! Going to re-list it for a profit, but fairly high. That way if I don't get any offers, I won't really care! I'm fine with a cheap shell. Judging by the curve, it's not meant for a regular cab but will fit my truck great.

Ok nevermind, I jumped the gun and got a little too excited. Upon closer inspection, this isn't a cap meant for our trucks. You can see the poor fitment better in this pic. After looking at other trucks with shells, it's supposed to cover the outer lip, and this one doesn't. I'm guessing it was a "close enough" and they just went with it, but the shell is really meant for another truck.

So my rear bumper is being a pain to get off! I'll explain more later, buuuutttt I'm wrapping my bumper while still on the truck.
Yeah it was only to pass inspection, but turns out I didn't need them. Getting that $30 now.

It did require some wd40 and a breaker bar to break loose.

So unfortunately a stuck bolt isn't the problem. I've got my impact for those that are. The issue is this one. Fucking. Bolt.

They're all new bolts (probably from the frame replacement) but one must be cross threaded or something. It just spins. Can't tighten it and can't loosen it. Took my angle grinder to it for 10 minutes and it barely made a dent. Then said fuck it and I'm just gonna wrap it while on the truck.

Too late now! I've already bought the vinyl. Worst case it'll fuck up, but I want to at least try.

I appreciate the offer, but I've (hopefully) got this one handled.

I'm too far gone at this point. I'm committed to see if I can wrap it while on the truck.
