Has anyone ever bought something big off of eBay like a car or trailer before? I'm looking at an enclosed cargo trailer on Craigslist but the seller says they are in the military at a base in Utah and the trailer is in a storage facility in SLC Utah ready to be shipped where ever. The seller wants to sell and ship it through eBay "to cover them and me". Is this a scam??? Or would it be safe? Should I pass or go for it?

:notsure: eBay is paypal essentially. I'm sure there's some sort of buyer protection or something. I dunno though.

Sorry bud, I have not done any such thing. Especially a Craigs list add. I need to visually see and then cash and carry on it. I would not trust it.

Yeah sounds like going through eBay isn't that bad. Buyer has 7 days to return the product, it's insured and covered under eBay/PayPal.
