I have about 20k on them, so its been awhile but nothing too bad as far as acceleration / braking. they are a little louder than stock but those tires have no place on a truck in my option (rugged trails)

Had mine installed this morning. I really like the way they drive and made a huge difference in the look of the truck. I also like the look better with all mud flaps removed.

Next step is Bilstein 5100s all around and some new wheels. Needed tires, so I went with them first.
Here are a couple of quick iPhone pics of before and after.

Looking to go with this size when I lift the truck. Do you have any issues with them?

No issues really. You can definitely tell they are bigger than stock when driving, but nothing you don't get used to. DISCLAIMER: THEY DO RUB ... but only in reverse every now and then. Nothing worth doing a CMC over. Maybe in the future but not planning on doing it now. I don't do any crazy off roading just mostly back roads and trails. So it works for me.

I have the same mentality. Might get spacers to prevent the rub too. I'm planning to get an RTT down the road but don't plan to do any extreme off-roading.

I don't mind the spacers, but I am always conscious I have them on. Without them though the rub on the UCAs is unbearable. I trust them, but I've just read so many horror stories about them I'm always thinking "What if ..."

Just bought some SCS F5s so those will be going on when they come in, and the spacers will be coming off.

How do these compare to duratracs? I've had duratracs and I was satisfied, but wanted to try out BFGs as my next set of tires.

    Bump on this question.

I'm also very curious. Can any who has owned both Duratracs and Ko2's chime in here?

Got my slightly larger than stock (265/75r16) mounted last Friday and ran the Miller Jeep Trail the next day....these tires never cease to impress me, especially brand new. Couple of the rocky shelves I'd get hung up on before I just crawled right over. My old ones at 30k miles still had another 10-15k miles of life left but were losing their grip offroad, and I wanted to go a little larger in size. Great tire IMO

Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
Tomorrow morning I have a scheduled appointment, at NTB to have all four tires replaced with BF Goodrich A/T KO's that I had purchased some years ago from Discount Tire to the newer KO2's that are now offered by BF Goodrich.

NTB currently has a special on all their tires so going to take advantage of it. The tires that I have on there now could last another 6 to 12 months but since the total purchase price $ amount is too good to pass up I need to jump on this deal quick.

Other than having the original OEM Dunlap tires that came with my 2008 Tacoma, I've always had BF Goodrich A/T KO's and my experience with them has always been excellent to say the least. Yes, I've thought about maybe trying another tire brand out (Cooper, etc.) but still can't go wrong with already knowing what is actually a good tire.

By the way tire size installed: LT265/70/R17 112/118S w/Load Range E (and no lift)

I have a set of 245/75/r16 load rated E. One just took a nail thru the sidewall and is shot and the rest are bald. Awesome looking tires but only got around 25k on them and they are incredibly bald.. No crazy driving and rotated regularly. Also they have sucked for me in the rain but are great off the street. Can't tell if it's justifiable to spend $1000 on another set and hopefully get the 50k that everyone else seems to be getting or look into a cheaper solution.

That's really weird...I beat the hell out of my last set offroad (also load E) and wasn't always good on rotating them, got 30k out of them before I replaced them and they still had ~15k more tread according to the tire shop.

I'm convinced it was something that I did do get that little miles out of them. I LOVE the looks of the tire but staring at that $1,100 quote for a new set of 265/70/r17s ko2s which weren't that phenomenal performance wise is tough. Leaning towards Terra Grapplers or something a little cheaper...

I was going to look elsewhere on my next set because of how expensive KO2s are nowadays. Ended up finding them for $165/each though at Americas Tires and but the bullet.

Terra Grapplers are good looking tires, was looking closely at them before I got my new KO2s. The last set were so reliable offroad it was hard to not go with what I knew I could trust.

If i can find them that cheap then I'll definetly buy them, everywhere else I look it seems they're 240$ a piece

Check into Costco if you have a membership. They may be a few hundred cheaper than other shops.

About 6 months ago, I bought a new (to me) the Gen 3 '16 DCLB 4x4 TRDOR w/3" lift and KO2's. Because they are 16", they are load range E.
I had no idea that these tires were so much heavier than OEM originals.
Are these the main culprit of my poor Acceleration and low end torque I am feeling out this Gen 3 ?
To compare, I also have a Gen 2 '11 DCSB TRD with stock size AT's... and it blows the doors off my new truck... as far as pickup and acceleration.
