    Ok, back from the hospital. Dad is starting to clear up (calcium levels coming down) and even is trying to eat. He's aware and communicative, even though he's slurring his words. By tomorrow afternoon he'll be back to normal mentally.

    Good sign.

    Granted, he's got cancer in several places...but he's down to just Tylenol and no more heavy painkillers.

    We'll take it.
