I just ordered the CAI a few days ago... I have to wait a couple weeks before i make any other purchases or I'll be sleeping in my shop.

If you're still having trouble I used Meguiar's Clay Kit and some Goo Gone. Worked perfectly for me.

I have the flowmaster delta 40's single in dual out and the sound in the cab at 2K is not bad at all. Has a little rumble when in higher RPMs but at 2k pretty minimal. I can still hear my stereo with no problems. My exhaust friend who does the installs said to beware of the original 40 and super 40 because in a Tacoma it would be to loud. $.02

 

Try some stuff called "Goof Off"... it's stronger than goo gone. Be careful with it. Works great

 

Stupid question but I have to ask. How well does the CH4X4 3 Toyota Push Switch Panel fit in that on the left side of the dash above the switches for the bed lights and rear window??

Seems like it. I ran a level against them on the drivers side door and it measures about 2" away from the door. I guess it all depends on the other vehicles height and how angled the ledge of their door is, but I think they'd do alright with that. Still gonna park at the far corners of the parking lot either way!

 

Murdered the chrome grill, de-badged. Now just gotta think of a good name for her.

 

Just installed mine. It helps smooth out the shifting and got me about two MPG back. Not a huge change, but better than that annoying over shifting I was getting without it.

Installed some Oregon Racks from @NWexpo and picked up an RTT from @Cascadia Tents. Also got to put my Shift Sense pro to the test on my 6 hour RT commute! Well worth the money.

 

i used rubbing alcohol, a micro fiber towel and polished with spray wax after residue was gone.

 

drilled some holes on the bed rail mounts i purchased from @Zac of all trades , bolted a couple quick fist clamps and borrowed a axe and shovel for this photo, haha! time to get my own set.

 

Nice, I am doing the same with mine. Just have to install the brackets. Wondering if there is a good way to lock em down from wandering hands!
