We start @ JJ's in Lago Vista and end at Otto's in Fredericksburg. The choice was ending it in f'burg in the 5 o'clock hour vs ending at the start point at maybe 7 something... such a long day. I tried to approximate the times we would be at the various points so people could meet up or drop off. We will definitely have mini-stops for cool pics or cool sites. dont think we want to stop too much to avoid it getting late

Just looked at the map and realized we are talking about two different trips! I'm talking about the Cheeseburger Loop on the 8th! Not the Hillcountry Run this weekend! :sorry:

    Yeah, ooooooops.

I have been thinking of the plan for cheeseburger loop and i think there are 2 options:

    Option 1:
Meet in Montgomery, TX 11am (2.5 hours from my house in S Austin)
    Ride the loop to Yankee's
    Eat
    Finish the loop to Montgomery

    Option 2:
Meet at Yankee's @ 11am (2.25 hours from my house in S Austin)
Ride the loop all the way around ~4 hours @ 35mph ish
We can meet for lunch and then ride the loop, or do the loop and end with burgers

    Thoughts?

In the last pic, you can clearly see that 1/2" silver axle. Light weight aftermarket I'm guessing.:p

I might be able to join up at the BBQ place! I'm down in San Antonio, is the route stock OR 4x4 friendly? I have sliders and AT tires but that's it. Don't have much recovery gear or CB yet...got a baby due in 4 weeks so my fun-fund is a bit dry.

Yeah you will be all good in a stock truck. There are some river crossings, but mostly its dirt roads and such.
