6in lift. But that's a whole different story. I would never do that to mine

Sr5 and Sr wheels as opposed to the sport, off-road wheels or pro wheels, I should've been more clear. Nice set up by the way

Haha thanks for saying that just to be nice! All I've done are tires, tailgate fill ins, and fog lights. But yes let's say your stocks are 17 inch, you must lose out some percentage of sidewall. So a 285/70/17 will be about the same. Not exactly the same but pretty close to my setup.

Yea man rolling at 40-50+ can really get a good feel for rubs. I have to admit though, you did a pretty good job of minimizing what you could. Dirty five is just a big ass tire no matter how you slice it.

I've hit a few high speed runs on the beach and hit a few dumps pretty hard. Ended up stuffing my tire all the way to the top of the fender and cut the wheel wells on the pinch welds. So now half my well is cut in half lol.

My wheel well liners were ripped out a long time ago lol. I rub the actual inner fender. Not a nice sound when It happens haha

I remember that man, shit with 35s I would take anything out that wasn't critical to the fender or the structure. Too much shit that needs to be trimmed otherwise.

Another great choice for on + off road. The width of the tire would guarantee no rubbing. I'll let you all know how it goes in the trails with 285s and a 4 inch lift. Real soon

Just don't expect to have a wide stance or look. Pizza cutters! I was going to go that route. I bought 1 tire to size it up and wasn't impressed. It's awesome for people who want height and not lose mpg

The 'stance' isn't actually much worse than stock, but yeah, the biggest thing keeping the 255s from being the first choice of tire for third gens is that they aren't instagram cool.

I'm too busy slogging them through mudholes to care lol

Exactly why I took the risk for 285 lol. Those things looked like you skipped leg day!

    Check My Sig.
He's running stock wheels so expect different outcomes if you're going to run aftermarket. I don't know how extreme, but results will vary.
