I've been running Nitto TG for about 6k miles now... From my experience so far, they have excellent traction On & Off road. We've had a lot (for so cal) of rain in the past few weeks and they have done GREAT in my experience. I've also been off road once in dry dirt and they did good. This past weekend I took my truck on the Pine Valley trail and it was a lil muddy. I didn't have ANY issues what so ever.

    Just my .02

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
The traction is all that great with the Hankook A/Ts...My NTGs were much better in off road traction [/quote]

Did you by chance mean that the traction with the Hankook's is NOT all that great. If so this is the first I have heard of this. I am seriously looking to buy these tires after all the good things I see online about them and the price I can get is nice too.

Nitto trail grapplers are the way to go best traction in all elements, the best was mud, but not by any means for super deep mud you might as well just stay away from it if you want street performance too.

lol terrible selections for both street/mud combo.

nittos melt away faster than any tire i have ever owned

pro comps have weak sidewalls and drone on the highway terribly

bfg mud terrains are great for mud but poor for street

go with a hankook dynapro atm or a goodyear wrangler duratrac

BTW: I own a town fair tire here in New Hampshire...

Stick on hood scoop from Autozone.
I don't understand the KM2s poor street reviews. They are very grippy (in rain, too), at least in my opinion, and they have 17/32 tread depth left after 20,000 miles. They started at 19/32. I get 17 MPGs with mine and I drive aggresively.
