Bent my rocker panels out and painted them so it wouldnt stand out as bad. Now to buff the door or line X a strip on the bottom before sliders is the question. Not as eye popping to look at like it was.

Yes do, and I've done a fair bit of trimming. Mostly rub now because I have spacers on.

Not now.. 2-3/4" front lift, (OME 885 coils) cab mount chop, pinch weld cut down then seam is welded and sealed. Some minor trimming to plastic. Stock TRD OR wheels with 1" Bora spacers. Superbumps. Rear is 2" Deavers AAL, 1" Bora spacer. 285/75r16 Cooper STT PRO measures a full 33". Cannot make 'em rub now.

There was one time I thought I did but in hindsight I think that was something else. Other than that I didn't notice any. I'm also on skinnies though. There's a thread with lots of info on 255s on 3rd gens you can access through my build thread!

e: now that I'm actually at a computer I can just give you the link to that: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/put-255-85-16s-on-stock-or-wheels-and-suspension.491079/

All you need for the CMC is a grinder with a cutoff wheel, or a saws all. Closing the mount up isn't required.
