Thought I'd say hello after a while. Sold my Taco, moved to Germany...ikr.

Heading back for the summer though, 3 weeks in August. Coming in here is not a good idea. It brings back memories of great things and times. FML.

Hopefully they take care of that quickly today. Don't need another Waldo Canyon or worse.

Guessing your getting more from the fire just north of me, the one west of Kremmling, or the one in the Snowys. Super smokey up here all week.

@Star-Lord, I was in your neck of the woods yesterday. I'm taking my lady and her kids to Dinosaur NM and we made our eastward move through Poudre Canyon. It was my first time, and I have to say, that is an incredible Canyon and a beautiful river. I need to get up that way with the truck and have you show me around some. Maybe drop some recovery knowledge on me as well.

Cameron Pass was amazing too. Saw two bull and one cow moose grazing right at the picnic area. The kids were blown away! The ridgelines and the Diamond Peaks were jaw-dropping gorgeous as well.

Looks like the FS is finally going to do something about Conundrum Hot Springs

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhdI4cEj4Cs

In response to widespread ecological damage caused by too many campers, the United States Forest Service (USFS) has rolled out its draft Overnight Visitor Use Management Plan for the Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness (MBSW).

The plan includes a proposal to require permits for camping at Conundrum Hot Springs and Conundrum Creek, a destination many people embark on from the West Maroon trailhead north of Gothic. The new permitting and online reservation system the USFS hopes to implement may also impose a $10 per person, per night fee. The plan is expected to go into effect the summer of 2018.
