@mwc273 Was wondering seeing your truck in the beginning stages ( love your upgrades on the truck btw) can I hit the trails with a doublecab long bed, just the mechanical LSD? It has a 2.5 lift and some 33" tars. Don't know if I should invest in this thing for off-road capability or just get another truck that has 4x4 and lockers.

^^^ this pretty good advice, I would just add to always wheel with a friend. Especially if you're a 2WD!

My truck does really well for what it is. I'm on 35's with a mechanical locker and I've been stuck twice in like weird situations but as long as you wheel with a buddy you'll be alright.

That's reassuring, I want to get an ARB air locker and trail like that. I don't plan to rock crawl with this thing just overland like MaddMatt does. High clearance rear, nice armor in the front and some sliders for the sides, a few upgrades here and there and before you know it I'm well on my way to paying my truck all over again.:yes:

Love that 2nd picture! It was a lot of fun! Can't wait till October to get the whole group together again and on a weekend where I get to be there from start to finish!

My whole patch collection basically had to come out when I got the new truck
The new truck doesn't have a Velcro type roof to let the patches stick

Push them against it, give it a little wiggle with pressure and it should stay and hold. I've got a few on mine and they seem to hold fine.

    That's how I had them
Until I was driving with the windows down and they smacked me in the face hahaha

I have seat covers on all my seats anyway and those have Velcro so I just moved a lot of them there

Hmm I hope my patches don't do that. I haven't been driving my truck much recently but when I do all the windows have been down. I'll be pissed of they fall off and blow out the window!

Good. Popped the biggest part of it out. Going to have to pay someone to pop the rest out. Or not. Who knows
