Hey first time I'm posting on any site so please bear with me. I'm planning on replacing complete exhaust including manifolds on 2003 xtra cab 3.4. Just looking for any good ideas. Also will do intake at same time but this truck likes to get muddy so need to be sure no water problems.

for exhaust, I would go with the TRD headers with a dynomax super turbo muffler. For intake, I would suggest doing the deck plate mod but im not sure about the water proofness (thats not a word lol). Maybe someone else can chime in.

Thanks for input I was thinkin of the TRD for ease of fit, little costly compared to some of aftermarket but probably alot easier install. Hows the sound with the dynomax?

its very mellow, but according to chris4x4 (one of the moderators on here) it shows some of the best gains in horse power.

scroll down a bit in this thread for a sound clip of the dynomax with the deck plate mod.

Headers will definitely make it sound different.
