Yeah, Ive seen them fail under 10k

wheel bearings are dumb haha its like I've seen them with 200k just humming along totally fine. and like you said 10k and poof they say FU.

 

There's a guy on here that makes a pretty sweet replacement

Im going to get a pair when the funds open up

Yeah I have that guy saved from when I was looking at them for my last Tacoma. Was able to squeeze two out of warranty from the dealer since it happened before 100k. I might have to pop the wheel spacers off and try it on this one if they really are bad. Kind of sucks since I'm planning to head to Michigan tonight so see what happens

These 265/70R17's looks a bit small I think....

 

So got most of it straightened out. Alignment shifted for some reason so they complained a bit till I told them to put it back on the machine and sure enough it was toed out to the right. I think I might have to rotate the front tires left to right just to see if that'll solve the remainder of the right pull. I'm debating picking up a set of straight highway tires in 265/70R17 just to help with commuting. And save these coopers for winter and for when I need the extra traction. They are great all rounders but I feel bad burning them up on pavement. Also my wallet hurts just thinking about replacing them haha. But so far I have over 6,000 miles on them and love them

 

Glad it was an easy fix. I really want these tires next year and don't like seeing issues like this pop up especially since they will be taking me to Alaska.

 

I like them a lot. Like probably the best all round tire I've gotten so far. And I think the winter these will be awesome. It sucks they are so much money. But on the road they aren't to loud. They have a little hum but nothing to deafening. I think they'll serve you well with the trip to Alaska.

Yup just got home actually.
No issues really. Way out down poured through Pennsylvania and Ohio. Was glad I rainx'd the glass. Coopers did amazing in the rain still did 65 and no hydro planning.
Was good to see the Mrs family
