I say trim the flare, then match the bumper to it.

It was the AC compressor.. the shop suggested changing everything not just the compressor to which I agreed. It worked great for about a week and a half but it suddenly AC stopped blowing cool air. The compressor is kicking over so my guess is a leak somewhere. So if he changed everything, hoses and such...how can there be a leak? Unless he didn't change everything, but maybe it's something else. I'll be stopping today by noon and start asking questions.

I agree. As for @EatSleepTacos being blasted by the FB people, when they start paying for his car then they can decide what is right/wrong with what he does to it. Some people are just dicks and when someone does something that they would not have done they blast. Idiots

Did they check the AC relay? That's been known to give people problems before.

    YEAH. Fuck those people.

So I'm bored at work (what else is new) so I'm reading through the whole thread on the DIY Rack I plan on building at some point.

I'll agree that the Tacoma is a little rough around the edges compared to other modern cars, but for what Tacoma owners use their trucks for, no one really seems to care.

His compressor kicks in but does not blow cold. It sound like it lost its charge and has a leak.

As for the DIY Rack, you would achieve Boss status if you pull this off. There are some crafty MF'ers here that can build some awesome stuff out of a pile of leftovers

Tacomas, and Toyota in general, have build a solid following where these statistics wont keep people from buying them.

Exactly, and there's nothing wrong with that IMO. I swear some of these articles are biased against Toyotas for some reason.
